This project was carried out in collaboration with RespiraWorks Inc., contributing to the development of a low-cost, emergency ventilator to address the critical shortage of ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Project Significance
COVID-19 patients often require lung-protective adaptive ventilation strategies and prolonged ventilator support for days to weeks. Our goal was to develop a reliable, cost-effective, and scalable solution to meet these urgent medical needs.
About RespiraWorks
RespiraWorks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a global network of over 100 contributors, dedicated to rapidly developing, manufacturing, and deploying an open-source ventilator for communities underserved by traditional medical supply chains.
Our Contribution
